I have been sculpting since I was very young. I thank God for blessing my hands with talent, and I thank a very dear friend of mine, a talented Artist and Painter by the name of Ray Kitchens. he placed my first red earthen cold lump of clay into my hands and said " Make something, I know you can.."
Since then I have been creating so many different clay vessels, sculptures, pottery, and recently can't seem to stop this clay jewelry obsession. I enjoy it so much.
It was my sweet husband who suggested I try lifesize and what do you know..I did. So from there on its been everyday clay.
Recently I have noticed a change in my creations in a more positive manner, and I have to give credit to my new look at life in such a happy Love that has been instilled in me thru God. I'm currently working on a few lifesize pieces that will reflect such. Angel on the Stairwell, my current large piece in progress. I'm so excited as I know it will be just beautiful.
Breaking The Silence
This piece was created in some pretty sad times my heart was breaking. During bad times I just would get lost in the clay, however this piece.. lets just say God heard my tears that are no more .

I know times are not great now so I'm not exactly seeking financial gain in this endeavor that God has placed in my heart, so if a particular piece just seems to touch your soul, email or contact me,and you might be surprised as to how reasonable I can be in regards to my Christian art. Afterall it's the children who benefit not me.
